My fondest memories of spending time with Jan was when Phil and I spend a week in Shetland whilst she was working there . She had to buy loads of waterproof clothing (no hardship for Jan) and adapted very well to different working conditions and catching ferries to outlying islands . I’m sure the islanders were most surprised by her crazy cobweb tights !! I was amazed too that she took up horse riding or was that an excuse to buy more unusual clothing ?! This was such an interesting and exciting time in her life ,Im glad we spent time with her there . Love “Cousin Pam !”
